Rachael and Aaron were married on a beautifully sunny August day at the magnificent Holy Trinity Church in Newcastle-under-Lyme before moving on to their wedding reception at the idyllic Sandhole Oak Barn. Rachael looked stunning in her wedding dress and Aaron made for a dapper groom as they were whisked off in style to the reception venue. Set in the beautiful Cheshire countryside by a private lake, the traditionally built oak framed barn is wonderfully light and airy and opens out onto a lakeside veranda for spectacular panoramic views. The lake made an ideal backdrop for some fun group photos before the wedding party and guests headed inside the barn for the wedding breakfast and speeches. Everyone was in high spirits, enjoying the summer warmth and beautiful surroundings as we took Rachael and Aaron off for their wedding portraits. This venue is a real treat for a wedding photographer as there are stunning backdrops and beautiful scenic nooks hiding behind every corner. After the first dance we made the most of the fading light with some sunset bride and groom portraits and sparkler fun under the moonlit sky. We hope you enjoy this selection of photos from their day!
